'Inception' dreams big, unlike its architect
It's understandable why director Christopher Nolan would lean so heavily toward familiar architectural forms, but too bad such a mind-bending narrative lacks equally inventive structures. Everybody has an opinion about "Inception," and mine comes in the form of a question: Why are the movie's architectural settings, for the most part, so hackneyed?
