Amazing spider man comics?
Ok so I recently got into comics but I don't understand them. For example if I search "Amazing Spider Man" I get all this different results like the amzing spider man flashback or amazing spider man coming home. What's the difference? Where do I start? Where can I get them for the cheapest?
To get the cheapest, I go to Marvel.com. I read unlimited digital comics for $10.00 a month. The selection is huge, and has newer comics, vintage comics, and some of the most popular storylines.
As far as the difference, it mostly has to do with the when it came out, the artist/writer behind it, and the storyline behind it.
You can also get the ESSENTIAL books. These books have about 30-40 comics in each one, and walk you through the storyline from their first appearance. They are relatively cheap, costing about $15-20 each and are all black and white. They are available for most major labels, including Ghost Rider, FF, Spiderman, X-Men, Punisher, DD, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Silver Surfer. Spiderman has I think 4-5 ESSENTIAL books, giving you the first 150 or so comics.
